Nolan Bedford

Mr. Bedford has 60+ years of experience in the banking industry, having worked closely with Mr. Brooks and served customers primarily located in the greater Houston metropolitan area. Now retired, Mr. Bedford was most recently employed by Commercial Bancshares, Inc (“CBI”) and Commercial State Bank (“CSB”) as its Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer from October 2010 until December 31, 2017 when he retired in connection with CBI’s acquisition by FFIN. Mr. Bedford was previously employed by Sterling Bank as Vice Chairman of the Bank from March 2007 until April 2010. Prior to his position with Sterling Bank, Mr. Bedford was the Chairman and CEO of Partners Bank of Texas. He was an organizer of the bank, which opened in November 2003. The bank grew from its inception in 2003 to approximately $190 million in assets in March 2007. Mr. Bedford has also been involved with many civic organizations including the Optimist Club, Rotary Club, Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, The Pasadena Rodeo Association and is a past President of the Houston Chapter of the American Institute of Banking. Mr. Bedford holds a B.S. degree from the University of Houston in Economics, and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University
